The Dacula Athletic Association (DAA) is a nonprofit voluntary organization dedicated to providing a positive and safe instructional sports environment for the youth of the community of Dacula. Our Association now serves more than two thousand families and four thousand children and continues to grow every year. This year we anticipate a 25% increase in membership. Because of our tremendous size and growth, we've created this web site to help provide you with the information we feel is important in order to make your sports season happy and rewarding.
DAA, as with all of the associations in Gwinnett County, is allowed to operate under the general guidance of the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Division, and we must abide by the rules and policies set forth by Parks and Rec. Our home park is Dacula Park, located at 205 Dacula Road and across the street from Dacula High School. This park was totally renovated two years ago. Situated on 51 acres in central Dacula, this expanded park hosts an outdoor pool, six softball/baseball fields, a free-standing football field, concession/restroom facilities, the Cleve Langley community room, picnic pavilion, two playgrounds, outdoor education area, sand volleyball court, new public library and a 1.4-mile, paved multi-purpose trail. We operate both spring, fall and winter sports. We offer baseball and softball in the spring and fall, football and cheerleading in the fall and basketball for both fall and winter. Check our registration page for the next registrations.
Our Association consists strictly of community volunteers for its operation. It's important to remember that each and every Executive Committee member, Sports Director, Sports Committee member, and coach is volunteering their own time and effort to provide the best program possible without any form of remuneration. We encourage you to consider what you might be able to do to help us out. Many different talents and skills are needed to operate an association of our size and you may have a particular skill that we need.
You can tell us how we're doing or send us information by sending us an e-mail. If you have a question about a particular sport, please go to the Board page and send it directly to that Sports Director or Committee. Check back often.

We are a volunteer, not-for-profit organization offering Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Football, Lacrosse, Special Needs and Cheerleading programs.
Our commitment is to provide the best possible experience for the kids involved in all of these programs. There is a strong emphasis placed on Sportsmanship, Fair Play and Character building while continually teaching the kids how to play each game from early ages through High School.
At the younger ages, our leagues take a developmental approach to teaching the fundamentals of each game while having an enjoyable experience. The goal is to have each participant have fun learning the various aspects of the game while growing from the increasing competition at each age level. We try to have a unique and positive experience for all participants, from beginner to the more highly skilled and competitive. This is all accomplished through our army of committed volunteers in all of the Sports.
